The full standards are published by the Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection, MOEA.

The test data and ST safety toy mark on this page apply only to the five-fold seamless children's play mat. Other categories such as the sensory training set have their own BSMI product registration and tests; see each product page for certificate numbers. None of the four materials contain flame retardants. XPE, iXPE and POE are not flammable by structure and pass the flame resistance test as they are; EPE foam burns easily by nature, and passing would require adding flame retardants. We chose not to, so EPE does not carry the ST mark, while every other test result matches the XPE, iXPE and POE ranges. Testing was performed by TCC and the results apply to the samples submitted.

Play mat edge cross-section showing the thickness

Kids do the growing,
we do the cushioning.

4.5CM

Made thickness|measured range 4.0–4.5 cm

The foam layer is elastic, so measurements differ between at rest and under load; 4.0–4.5 cm is the normal range. The impact of a sit-down fall is spread through the mat instead of reaching your child's knees and the back of the head.

Not sure about the size?
We can make it to order

Send us a photo of your living room or the measurements and we will help you pick the best option. The XPE / iXPE / POE ranges can be made to exactly the size you need, including extra-large 180×200 and 200×300 and bedside step mats.
